Case Study - The National Trust

In mid-2000, again following personal recommendation, BlueLevel were asked to tender for the design, development and build of an Intranet for The National Trust

Beating off stiff competition from a number of large London design agencies, we won the contract to manage the entire Intranet development

The Intranet is based around a complex, bespoke authoring system that allows authorised users specific rights to design and create their own sections for the site and a complex security management system that oversees access and administration.

The intranet, named iN Touch, will be viewed by all National Trust properties and was launched late-2001.

The Intranet is being steadily expanded and in 2002 we were tasked with creating a fully featured site for the Photo Library of the The National Trust.

This site was launched to much acclaim in December 2002 and is currently being considered for rollout onto the main Trust internet site.

From the outset BlueLevel have provided a most efficient and friendly service, which quickly enabled us to develop an Intranet look and feel that has received nothing but praise.

On occasions we have set tight deadlines for the completion of certain phases of the development work and BlueLevel have always risen to the challenge with excellent results.
