Our Approach
We began with a deep dive into the brand identity and customer journey. Working closely with Mich Turner and her team, we explored how customers engage with the brand online — from those seeking inspiration for bespoke commissions to international audiences interested in retail products and collaborations. This research shaped our approach to design, ensuring the website conveyed luxury, craftsmanship, and authenticity at every touchpoint.
Visually, we built the experience around high-quality photography, refined typography, and elegant spacing, allowing each cake to become a visual focal point. Every design decision — from colour palette to animation timing — was crafted to evoke the poise and polish of a luxury brand. Functionally, the website was developed with a bespoke CMS and flexible content structure, enabling the team to update collections, feature press coverage, and manage content with ease.
